Fixed Base Simulator Hire cost £100 per hour
This hire is for pilots who have already been checked out on the operating system and Health & Safety aspects of the site. The aircraft is positioned short of the nominated runway, with engines running and the slot is timed from brakes off to brakes on. This session would suit a Captain and First Officer practicing procedures for LPC/OPC without help from the simulator staff.
Fixed Base Simulator Hire with Operator £120 per hour
A Health & Safety briefing will be provided and instructions on simulator operating system. The aircraft is positioned short of the nominated runway, with engines running and the slot is timed from brakes off to brakes on. This session would suit a Captain and First Officer practicing procedures. A simulator operator will be provided to facilitate re-positioning and emergency/fault generation procedures as required.

A Health & Safety briefing will be provided and instructions on simulator operating system. The aircraft is positioned short of the nominated runway, with engines running and the slot is timed from brakes off to brakes on. This session includes a Professional Airline Pilot who will act as Instructor or Co-pilot – and in addition will facilitate system failures and re-positioning as requested.
