Can I purchase an experience as a gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course!  You are more than welcome to purchase an experience and transfer it to someone of your choice.  We can do all this over the phone or online.  Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.  We do not store or share any card details.

Is there a minimum / maximum age?

Our minimum age for the simulators is 12 and we have no maximum age.  Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

How many people can I bring with me?

Spectators are welcome
There is room inside the flight deck for one on the 'jump' seat
An airliner cabin behind the flight deck enables friends and family to view what is going on via a HD TV
You are more than welcome to take photos during the experience!
We have a GoPro available on the flight deck if you wish to record the experience.

What type of simulators do you have?

Deeside Flight Simulators own the only UK CAA accredited FSTD to FNPT II MCC/APS Airbus A320 trainer, operating  ProSim software.   We only use real flight-decks from real aircraft with 220° surround vision.  Our simulators are used by professional airline pilots!

What days are you open?

We are open for flight experiences Tuesday-Saturday 10-5pm and the Booking Office is open Monday-Friday  10-5pm

Can I video my experience?

Yes, we have a GoPro on the flight-deck of the Airbus and Boeing which use Micro SD cards, minimum 32GB - similar to the one below:  We have a limited supply onsite @ a cost of £26 or you can bring your own for a charge of £10

Is there parking?

Yes, we are based at FlexSpace Business Park, with parking spaces outside.

What disability facilities do you have?

We have a disabled parking space directly outside, disabled toilet facilities and a wheelchair ramp to the simulators.

Do I need any flying experience?

No, as our sessions are tailored to suit the level of knowledge and expertise you have.  Our instructors will make sure you have a superb time, no matter what your experience level.

What PPE do I need?

We have provided a sanitiser station on entry with hand-gel .  Also, there are numerous stations around the building.
